ABCya! provides high quality children's educational games and activities. All educational games and activities were created or approved by certified teachers! Games and activities are modeled from primary grade lessons and enhanced to provide an interactive way to learn.
How to use ABCya!
ABCya! has worked hard to create a visually stimulating web site while maintaining a simple navigation theme. Although many web sites offer great content for children, most unfortunately require a good deal of adult intervention. Activities are scattered and nested several pages deep, with only contextual clues and difficult to follow menus to use as guides. ABCya! has taken this problem into account and has made navigation as simple as possible for young children. There is even an interactive lesson on how our buttons work! Aside from the easy to follow colorful buttons, kindergarten and first grade activities have sound embedded for voice instruction. We promise that after a quick introduction, students of all ages will be able to navigate through ABCya! without a problem.

ABCya! is free to use as long as the terms and conditions are followed by the user(s). ABCya! has several benchmarks in place for 2010, one of which is to add new activities every week. As we work hard to meet this goal, we also seek feedback to help constantly improve current activities and games. Together we can help ABCya! meet its overarching goal which is to become the standard in technology in elementary education.
About the author
The author has professional experience in both public education, web site development and most recently parenthood. The proud husband and father of two young children is a graduate of Rhode Island College with an M.A. in Educational Leadership and a B.S. in Elementary Education and Industrial Technology (double major). Professional work experience as a web designer for a Fortune 500 company and as an elementary education computer teacher (kindergarten through fifth grade) has yielded a truly unique perspective. Through this perspective ABCya! strives to be a leader in free online interactive games and activities for primary grade students.
